There’s nothing wrong with getting kids the top toys on their holiday wish lists. But let us suggest slipping in a few things that are not just fun, but also help teach lifelong habits to help them be their best.

To encourage hand washing

Fun attachments like faucet extenders can help encourage kids to wash their hands thoroughly. These plastic extenders come in various animal shapes and colors. You can also look for treat soap, which is a bar of soap with a toy in it. The more your kids wash, the closer they get to a new toy!

To teach teeth cleanliness

Upgrade your child’s traditional toothbrush to a new electric one that’s decorated with their favorite character. You can even find toothpaste with a matching character on it.

To upgrade bath time

Sometimes it takes more than a rubber ducky to get kids to take a bath. Try stepping up the bath time fun with new toys like foam letters, numbers and animals. These foam cutouts stick to the tub walls when wet and will make bath time fun and educational. Bubble bath is a solid choice for kids too, and a fun bottle in a stocking will certainly make a kid look forward to their next bath!
