Let’s face it, sandwiches are easy to make for your kid’s school lunches, but the same sandwich everyday can get boring! Try some of unique ideas to keep lunches exciting.

Strawberries and Cream Cheese
Instead of peanut butter and bananas, try this fun and unique twist. Spread low-fat cream cheese on two slices of bread. Place sliced strawberries on one of the slices of bread, drizzle with a little bit of honey and then top with the other slice of bread.

Cucumber and Cream Cheese
This idea is similar, but instead of strawberries and honey, use sliced cucumbers and dill.

Apple, Peanut Butter & Granola
Instead of bread, use two slices of apple to make this healthy little sandwich. Cut an apple crosswise into thick slices. Spread peanut butter on each slice, sprinkle some granola for a nice crunch to one of the apples and then top with the other.

Pancake or Waffle Sandwich
One way to really get kids excited about their lunchtime sandwich is to use small dollar-sized pancakes or waffles instead of sliced bread. You can use pancakes or waffles asa bread replacement for almost any kind of sandwich, such a peanut butter andjelly, BLT or cream cheese and sliced fruit.

Sandwich Kabob
Try using the usual sandwich ingredients, but put together in a different way. Take all the sandwich components like lunch meats, cubes of cheese, lettuce, cherry tomatoes (or other veggies), and bread cut into cubes and arrange on a bamboo skewer.
