So 3 stars because I’ve been coming here since 2021 whenever I’m able to afford dental work. So this past January (January 13th to be exact), I came in for them to check on two teeth that were bothering me really bad and while the lady that worked on my mouth was relatively nice, the dental assistant Alberto was very rough with me a lot of times when it came to working on my mouth. He would place the suction right on my open hole and hold it there with intense pressure after me expressing what would turn into intense pain. After letting him know he would continue and tell me “I’m sorry I have to do it to dry the area” which really I winded up figuring out after Dr. Kabbani working on my mouth when he wasn’t around she was NEVER like that and I NEVER had that issue when she would dry my open areas where two of my teeth were pulled. She would use some sort of little cloth and then apply very little pressure with the suction and was still able to do the job. She was always so gentle as all dentists/dental assistants should be with patients. It was only him I had an issue with. I had to do several sessions because I had 2 dental bridges placed in my mouth. He was rough every time and I’ve told him not to be which was insane to me that I even had to tell him that, and he still was rough no matter what I said. My second session Dr. Kabbani even told him that he needs to stop pushing whatever tool it was that has the little mirror on it down near my gag reflex and she had to tell him 2 or 3 times I can’t remember but it was more than once. He didn’t even care about my gag reflex either aside from the intense pressure he would apply to my open holes. Overall he was just really rough and he shouldn’t be working in dentistry if he’s gonna be as rough as he is.
Even yesterday he was still rough after me having to tell him not to be and that was my last session for the bridges. BUT Thank you to Dr. Kabbani for helping me each session, you did an amazing job!
