I have finally finished my treatment. A total of 28 months. I am a chronic cancer patient and went to several other orthodontists who said they couldn’t correct my smile. Castle Dental was the only one to take me on. The team was extremely professional and took excellent care of me. I truly thank Dr. Rabi, Dr. Lancaster and of course Mary and Evette. I always have a good experience at Castle Dental in Franklin TN. I’ve been going there for more than 20 years. The retention of the technician staff is very good, I usually have the same technician clean my teeth every time and they are usually there more than 5 years. My current dental technician is Fatima and she is the best, always careful and thorough with my cleaning. Dr Mathis is also good though I haven’t had any major procedures done with him because I haven’t needed anything. I would recommend.

Let me start by saying 5 stars are 100% for Dr. John & his RDA Rayvin. Then hands down 5 stars go to Carolina Meza. I believe she is the manager. They are why I go & will continue to go. When it comes to Melissa I couldn’t be more upset & thoroughly disgusted with how she handled me from the second I walked in. I’m in pain management already & had explained this to the office manager prior to going in. I also had whatever they wrote me approved with my pain management doctor ahead of time. I’m the type to always come prepared. The protocol they have is to only write 2 days worth (which is plenty) but half the milligram of what I’m already on with pain management. Melissa called that in after sending it to the wrong place initially but it was corrected and I was beyond thankful. Then Kroger tells me yet again (3rd go around at this point) That by law they can’t write less than what I’m already on. At first it was to just make sure it was all noted which I did. So while in massive amounts of pain, I’m having to deal with all of this. I waited for a call from her like I was told would happen & it never came. I touched base with Kroger to see what on earth happened & they told me that it was completely canceled. I’ve never been more disappointed in the way someone conducts business. Not even a call back? I’ll never go to Franklin again because of this. I drove an hour because the pain was so bad. I will follow Dr, John anywhere but never Franklin again. The lady is flat out rude. They don’t know that I’ve never been an issue with pain management or ever had a short count or failed drug test. That lady 100% labeled me. I was waiting to write this because I hate leaving bad reviews. I had high hopes that she would get back to me. You would think they would understand federal laws as well. I listened to what I was told days prior and now am taking Ibuprofen as well Which is a huge no-no for me. I have a history of bleeding ulcers & Actually had my stomach perforate in 2020. They don’t care because most people take over-the-counter. I physically can’t So that explains right there how much pain I’ve been in. I truly thought getting through today would be the worst part But now have to also taken tomorrow off work. I’ve never been treated so poorly with such an awesome surgeon & staff. Law is Law & they knew this. I did everything I was supposed to and everything I was told to. None of it mattered. My pain management directed me not to take anymore than what I was originally prescribed from them and to let the dentist take over. They failed me miserably. Thank God, I normally see Dr. John in Antioch

I always receive excellent work regarding my dental issues. I highly respect Dr. Timothy Mathis and the work he has performed with my teeth. The dental assistants and office staff are friendly and on point with any issue I have to work through. I highly recommend Dr. Mathis and this staff for solid dental service!!!

Been hating the Dentist since forever, even tho I go. Dr. Mathis is world class! The new staff is doing amazing work and a great place to go. Clean. Little discomfort. Reasonable. Expert dental care.

It's always a great visit with Dr Mathis! He is a very caring and compassionate man, very calm natured. You'll never find another dentist like him, I promise! However, his lil assistant on 8/28/25 was either having a bad day, hates his job, or maybe going through some personal issues. I could not tell, but I even tried friendly conversation with him and got real short answers & not even a smile. I realize we all go through things & we never know what another is going thru, but I was always taught to never bring personal problems to my job. Just my thoughts 🤔
