I love Dr. Samosa. I had an appt. I thought a new crown was loose (I have a wild dog that pulled me into a ravine and I hit pretty hard). Dr. Samosa was busy but made time. My crown was not loose. It had broken horizontal under the gum line making it a little bit of complicated pull 👀. Some dentist never see such a break in their careers it’s such an oddity. again, he made time.. he got my top part of molar off and out and 3-4 root tips extracted swiftly and in whole pieces. Very impressive! I have gone to this office for years now. I have always had a great experience. It might be hard to snag a cleaning but all of AUstin that can be tricky.. overall it’s worth it for the hygienist on team, the Ortho that comes to office 1 time a wk. and the dental team.

Dr Somoza and the x-ray/assistant were super nice and walked me through everything in my exam. The front desk lady was super pleasant and knew what she was doing. Much better than other places that take HMO. They are friendly, professional, and efficient. I went to another place before Castle slaughter that tried to rip me off and the front desk treatment was awful. So happy to have found this place.

Everyone was courteous and professional. My root canal was done , with hardly any discomfort and in a timely manner.

Rosa helped me with my dental cleaning and X-Rays and I must say that she definitely knows her profession. She is determined and skilled, she doesn't waste time at your appointment, gets you in&out with great experience. Thank you Rosa for cleaning my teeth !

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist is the best I have personally experienced- kind, communicates well and does a thorough yet gentle job.

Office was able to schedule me quickly. Very friendly staff an Dr. Somoza repaired my broken tooth efficiently and perfectly! I will use them for all of my future dental needs!

Hygienist was nice, but they don't have enough appointments. The next one is 9 months away.

The dentist and dental hygienist are great! The front office staff are not. They cant book you within 6 months, they arent adequately staffed, and cancel on you the same day but cant reschedule for another 6 weeks (after already waiting 9 months for your appointment). They are also rude and unresponsive.

Great dental hygienist. Scheduling a dental hygienist appointment is an issue. You may not get 2 appointments a year.

Excellsnt service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Gu is very nice and explains everything. She checks to make sure you are doing alright through the whole process. I would recommend her to my friends snd family.

Just switched over because of insurance coverage and couldn’t be happier! Castle Dental on slaughter & mopac is amazing! Wonderful and patient staff! Dr. Somoza is so sweet & the least big judgy for a gal who hadn’t been to the dentist in a while! Grateful for this team & environment! 10/10 recommend!

Madison went above and beyond to make me feel relaxed and comfortable and I was impressed with the professional service received by her and Dentist Somoza. I went in for my first visit to a dentist’s office in over a year and it was a great experience! Right when I walked in, the staff at the front were really nice and informative. The hygienist, Kayla, was very personable and checked on me during X-rays. She remembered and relayed my concerns to Dr. Somoza. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Somoza. He was very thorough, took his time, and was willing to answer any questions I had. Such a good experience for someone who does not like gong to the dentist. Thank you!

As always, Dr Samoza, and Rosie were so awesome! I don’t have to drive to their office, because another Castle Dental office is just down from my neighborhood. I choose to make the drive, and have for the past 11 years. I would not go anywhere else!
