Complete removal of the pulp (commonly done in children’s teeth).

Pulpitis

Inflammation of the pulp, which is common cause of toothache.

Pulpotomy

Partial removal of the pulp tissue.

Pyorrhea

Older term for periodontal (gum) disease.
